Deadline Extended!

Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth, Brandon Lewis, has today extended the deadline for the Yarmouth Greats competition.

Due to the high level of public interest in the competition, the deadline for voting has now been extended to 10th October, giving residents and extra two weeks to vote for their favourite high street shop, tourist attraction or hospitality venue.

Brandon Lewis: “I have been absolutely delighted by the level of interest in the Yarmouth Greats campaign. So many residents have voted, giving glowing reviews of the shops, restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions across our area. The voting isn’t slowing down, so I have decided to extend the competition deadline, giving local people extra time to get involved. I look forward to reading even more good stories about the businesses that make Yarmouth Great.”

#YarmouthGreats – Spread the word!

As you may have seen, the launch of Yarmouth Greats was publicised in the Yarmouth Mercury last week – you can read the article by clicking here.

This has helped to spread the word about the campaign which will help businesses across the area.

There are a number of ways that you can help to spread the word about this campaign –

  1. Email your friends about Yarmouth Greats and encourage them to take part
  2. Tweet about the campaign, using #YarmouthGreats and mention @BrandonLewis
  3. Share the campaign on Facebook and tell people why you took part
  4. Do it the old fashioned way – tell your friends, family and local shops, pubs, restaurants, tourist attractions, guest houses or any other business you admire about the campaign and ask them to get involved!

Remember – taking part in the campaign automatically enters you into a monthly prize draw to win an annual Splurge Card.  Don’t miss out!
